June Steiner, PhD has worked and taught in the fields of psychology, parapsychology, altered states, consciousness, shamanism
and anomalous experiences for 30 years and is deeply interested in the interplay between disciplines and the experiences that come from them.
She is an explorer of the multiple layers of reality in which peak experiences occur and spends much of her free time working with, listening to, and sharing with individuals who want to know more about the meaning of their experiences.
She has a masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, a doctorate from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in the effects of altered states on physical and emotional health, and is a shamanic practitioner.
June is a fellow in the Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and trained in EMDR, EFT, PTSD, Bio-feedback and regression of all
kinds. As Vice-President of A.C.C.E.T., Academy of Clinical Close Encounter Therapists and President of O.P.U.S., Organization for
Paranormal Understanding and Support, she is very involved in bringing greater awareness of anomalous issues to the world community and in educating the public about how to give and receive the help that is needed. OPUS offers referrals for professional
help if needed and has both an in-person support group and an international email support group.
As host of the TV show, “Mirrors of the Mind”, for five years, she interviewed practitioners from all walks of unusual professions in the
healing arts and has brought awareness of the need to raise one’s consciousness, learn how to bridge realities and walk in multiple worlds.
June has been on a spiritual path since childhood. She incorporates dreamwork, regression, near death experiences, psychic awareness,
shamanism and all maker of working with anomalous experiences into her professional life. She has been an educator of children and adults for 35 years locally and nationally. She is married and the mother of 5 children and many grandchildren.
